Christopher H. Small, PE, Market Leader, Science + Technology, Clark Nexsen, has designed more than 3.5 million sq ft of research and development space since 2010. His expertise is focused on project management, client management and business development. Chris has served as a leader on multiple research and development greenhouse projects throughout the United States as well as research and biomedical laboratories, pharmaceutical, higher education, agricultural technology, industrial, warehousing, and manufacturing facilities.
He is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) in both the Carolina South Atlantic and Chesapeake Bay chapters. He served as the chair of the 2018 ISPE CaSA Technology Conference and is on the Communications Committee of the Association of Education and Research Greenhouse Curators (AERGC). Chris holds a BS in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.
