Eric Buckstein

Eric Buckstein, Deputy Director, U.S. Quality Control Focus Factory and Instrument Support Team Lead, Sanofi Pasteur, began work at the Sanofi Pasteur in 1999 as a laboratory technician and quickly advanced to a microbiology technician and then validation and building manager for Quality Control Instrument Support. In this position, he was responsible for coordinating, performing and reviewing qualification of analytical instrumentation in the Quality Control, Sterility Assurance and Manufacturing Technology areas. In his current role as Deputy Director, U.S. Quality Control Focus Factory and Instrument Support team lead, Eric was responsible for the execution of the Quality Control Facility design and implementation, including budgeting and construction scheduling activities. Additionally, he led the Quality Control Start-Up Team, which included the transition of lab systems, equipment and personnel to the new facility.
