Jennifer DiMambro, MSt, is a Director in the Buildings Team in Arup, working out of the London office. She joined Arup in 1996 starting in the Industrial team and then moving to the Buildings team with a focus on architecturally-led projects. Arup is a 14,000-strong multidisciplinary, international consultancy specializing in the built environment.
Jennifer specializes in designing buildings for science and research, and is currently the Science Sector Lead for the U.K., India, Middle East and Africa region within Arup. She has delivered some of the most significant science buildings in the U.K. including the 2012 Stirling prize-winning Sainsbury Laboratory for the University of Cambridge. As well as U.K.-based projects, she has delivered projects in Russia and the United States. She regularly speaks at industry events and recently led a major research project into the future direction of science and the impact on building design.
Jennifer has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University (BEng) and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge (MSt).
