Burcin Moehring, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, Strategic Director of Science & Technology, Integrus Architecture, is President of the I2SL-Emerald City Chapter and Chair of AIA Seattle- Education Committee. Burcin began her career at Holabird & Root in Chicago, and has been practicing architecture for 28 years. She moved to the Pacific Northwest as the Principal for Education, Science, and Technology at HDR Architecture and currently she serves as the Strategic Director, Science & Technology for Integrus Architecture in Seattle. Burcin has been responsible for the design, programming and management of multidiscipline academic science facilities. Some of her platinum science facility projects include Beloit College, St. Olaf College and the College of Lake County. She has a detailed understanding of state-of-the-art laboratory design concepts and their impacts on building systems.
