Robert Skolozdra, AIA, LEED AP is a Partner at Svigals + Partners in New Haven, Conn., where he has worked since 1988. Bob is an expert in sustainable laboratory design and construction, having completed more than 200 projects for Yale University as well as innovative labs and science parks for the private sector. He directs the LEED/sustainability initiatives with engineers, consultants and the firm’s design team. Bob was invited to become a Grant Peer Reviewer for the National Institutes of Health and now regularly participates in the grant application review process. Bob’s innovative renovation of a 17,000 sf wing at Yale’s Sterling Hall of Medicine earned a LEED Gold rating for Commercial Interiors and became the first LEED-CI rated laboratory renovation in the U.S.
