Erik Lustgarten, AIA, LEED AP, is a Life Sciences Practice Area Leader for Gensler Boston. Erik has contributed to the design of over 3 million square feet of research facilities in his career. He has worked with researchers at GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Boston University, Tufts University, and Boston Children's Hospital and have been recognized for design excellence by the Illumination Engineering Society, Boston Society of Architects and the AIA. An active member of the New England Chapter of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories, he serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer. He has also served as a National Science Foundation grants review panelist and spoken on science and technology related topics at numerous regional and national conferences, including the 2015 Laboratory Design Conference.
